To inform and motivate parents, children, teachers, politicians and other leaders, government staff etc. to include children with disability into schools.
RAHA team look great interest in ‘Ring the Bell Campaign’ and marked the day 21, March addressing 5 schools and over 4500 children. Sr. Elizabeth, Director RAHA introduced this campaign, its beginning and its noble purpose to all invited and also to school children. Disabled children who reside in Shakti Bhawan also took part. The main message of the campaign ‘Welcoming all the children to School’ and its focus on Accessibility, Acceptance and Adaptation explained as pre-conditions for every child to go to school. Though we were a bit hesitant to approach school authorities as this is peak time with exams, to our surprise all the principal, headmasters as well as children were very open and gave full co-operation.  ‘Ring the Bell campaign’ turned out a very good beginning and encouraged the organizers with its results.

The main guest Shri P. V. Xess, SDM, Pathalgaon addressed the assembly, gave information on Right to Education and responsibility on enrolling children with disability in all schools. He also encouraged children with disability to attend school regularly and wished them for a bright future.
