School health program of RAHA started in 1980.

All students are encouraged to enroll themselves in RAHA CHPS and School Health Services are made available to the students.
The School Health Services include:-

  1. Imparting Health Education at Primary, Middle and High School level with specially designed School Health Books.
  2. Health check up in school by RAHA team in which health check up, medicine when necessary and de-worming done. Eye check up is done for all students and free spectacles are distributed through District Blind Control Society (DBCS)(only in Jashpur)
  3. Short documentary films according to age groups are shown followed by discussion.
  4. School Health Guides, who are teachers, get classes on a wide range of topics to update their knowledge and conduct health education to students.
  5. Vitamin ‘A’ supplementation to children under 6 years of age in school.
